Danish Refugee Council (DRC) – is a leading, international humanitarian displacement organisation, supporting refugees and internally displaced persons in 40 countries. We provide protection and life-saving humanitarian assistance. DRC was founded in Denmark in 1956, employs 9,000 staff and is supported by 7,500 volunteers in Denmark.

The Danish Diabetes Association has already since 1940 contributed to the working for curing and preventing diabetes and improving the life quality for people that are influenced by diabetes. The association conducts diabetic research, educates people as well as provides support and information to the people in need.

More than 2.700 volunteers devote their time and energy to operate close to 50 different services/activities all with the aim of improving the lives of vulnerable individuals and minorities in the metropolitan region.
